Selecting the right model allows you to optimize your experience based on factors such as speed, accuracy, reasoning capability, and cost. Whether you’re generating quick responses or performing complex analysis, choosing an appropriate model ensures more effective and efficient outcomes.
Once you are in the Assistant, the model selection options are readily available within the chat interface. A set of default models is displayed for quick access, including your currently selected model. To explore additional options, click on “More Models” to open a complete list of available models, organized based on their capabilities and supported use cases.

You can set a preferred model as your default to streamline your workflow. Simply select your desired model and choose the “Make Default” option. This model will then be used automatically for your future interactions unless changed.
For greater flexibility, you can switch between models at any time within a conversation. Selecting a different model will immediately apply it to your current task without affecting your default settings, allowing you to adapt quickly based on changing requirements.
