The Library is where Fix Assist stores and organizes the knowledge sources it relies on to diagnose issues and recommend fixes — manuals, SOPs, work instructions, fault codes, and equipment components. It is organizedas a hierarchical folder structure that mirrors your physical operations, from plant down to individual equipment.

The Library is the foundation of Fix Assist's accuracy: the better and more complete the documentation uploaded here, the more issues Fix Assist can resolve automatically without escalating to a human reviewer.

Folder Structure

The Library is organized as a nested tree in the left panel, following a Plant → Line → Equipment hierarchy. For example:

      └── Equipment A

Each equipment-level folder is where you manage the actual documentation, fault codes, and components tied to that specific piece of equipment.

Folder toolbar options (top of the folder tree):

• Search — Search for a specific folder within the tree
• Add — Create a new folder (plant, line, or equipment)
• Upload — Upload a document directly from the folder tree
• Collapse/Expand — Collapse or expand all folders in the tree
• Collapse Panel — Hide the folder tree to widen the main content area

Equipment-Level Tabs

Once you select a specific piece of equipment (e.g., Equipment A), the main panel displays three tabs, each showing a live count of items:

• Documents — Manuals, SOPs, and work instructions uploaded for this equipment
• Faults — Fault codes associated with this equipment
• Components — Parts and components detected within the uploaded documents
