The File Upload feature enables users to bring their content directly into the Assistant and interact with it using AI in real time. By uploading documents, spreadsheets, images, or other supported file types, users can quickly analyze information, generate summaries, extract insights, and perform data-driven tasks—all within the same interface. This creates a more efficient and seamless workflow, eliminating the need to switch between multiple tools.
How It Works
- Access the Upload Option
- In the chat input area, click the “+” (Add) icon and select Upload File
- Upload Your File
- Choose a file from your local device and confirm the upload
- You can upload up to 5 files, with a total size limit of 32 MB
- Once uploaded, the file will appear within your chat session
- For CSE users, uploaded files are also stored in the My Data section and can be filtered by Source: Uploaded
- Interact with Your File
- Start engaging with the file immediately by entering prompts such as:
- “Summarize this document”
- “Extract key insights from this data”
- “Highlight important points from this file”
- Real-Time Processing
- The Assistant processes the file content and provides structured, actionable responses directly within the chat
